The implementation of a project to create a unified Science Museum of PetrSU has begun.
The project includes the Museum “History of Tourism of Karelia”, which has been successfully working for four years at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of PetrSU.
The concept of a new hall “Tourism of the Future” has already been accepted for implementation. The exposition of this hall will be built on a new approach to presenting information for visitors, which will be schoolchildren, students, teachers of various disciplines related to tourism, specialists in the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as members of public organizations.
The most modern equipment will make it possible to immerse yourself in the nature of the region, get acquainted with historical and natural monuments without leaving the premises. The prepared content for interactive equipment will provide an opportunity to predict and design new routes in Karelia, taking into account the demand of future tourists. This information is already being prepared by students within the framework of term papers and theses.
Good news came to us from the Kuzbass College of Architecture, Construction and Digital Technologies. Colleagues approved an application for a case for the development of a design project for the Museum “Tourism of the Future”, which we sent to the All-Russian competition of practice-oriented student work “Professional internship 2.0”. Graduates of this educational institution will develop two alternative projects of our museum free of charge and offer us for implementation. We decided to seek help from the younger generation of designers and find out their options. We hope that such cooperation will allow us to get a good version of the design project of the Museum “Tourism of the Future”, said representatives of the museum.
