Davinci Motor, a Chinese manufacturer of high-performance robotic electric motorcycles, will showcase its futuristic DC100 electric motorcycle at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s most influential global tech event. It will mark the first time that the company’s products have landed in the US market.
“We’re excited to announce that CES 2023 represents our first on-site appearance in the US market,” said Rosanna Libia, Davinci Motor International Business Manager. “As a tech-driven company, this show is top on our agenda for events where we want to represent ourselves as a tech company in the US and across the world. CES 2023 serves as the perfect opportunity to introduce our product to the US market, and we would like to invite media and attendees to visit our booth.”
The Davinci DC100 high performance electric motorbike from Chinese start-up Davinci Motors had made its official debut in China in October this year. The company offers a small number of electric motorbikes, with the DC100 being the first model that the firm has put through its production line in Zibo, China.
The striking performance-orientated motorcycle has a peak power output of 100kW and a top speed of 200kph. Impressively, the DC100 has a claimed WLTP range of 222 miles / 355 kilometres. Davinci Motors has also equipped the e-motorbike with level three fast charging meaning the DC100 can be charged in around 30 minutes.
The DC100 has more than 1000 chips and over 200 advanced sensors that track accurate information on the environment, vehicle movement status, road conditions, battery and motor temperature, lean angle.
Packed full of technology, the DC100 is designed as a “robotic concept” and is able to track accurate information such as ambient temperature, battery and motor temperature, lean angle and road conditions.
Alongside its sensing capabilities, Davinci Motors has added a number of assist features to “address the difficulty of riding a heavy-duty motorcycle”.
The DC100 has a number of ride-assist features including hill start assist control, hill descent control and reverse assist. It also has a traction control system.
The firm has also promised more features that will come at a later date, including a self-levelling system.
