The domestic stocks markets were trading lower with a loss of more than 0.20% in noon deals on Thursday’s volatile session. Today is the weekly options expiry. At 1:13 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading at a loss of 107.96 points or 0.21% at 52,394.02. The Nifty 50 index was trading 43.45 points or 0.28% low at 15,724.10. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

IPOs Update

Dodla Dairy: The initial public offering (IPO) of Dodla Dairy was subscribed 2.09 times by 12:10 pm on the second day of subscription. The integrated dairy company seeks to raise Rs 520 crore through the public offer. The price band has been fixed at Rs 421-428 per equity share. The public issue will open for subscription on Wednesday till June 18, 2021.
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences: The initial public offering (IPO) of Krishna Institute of Medical Science Ltd.’s (KIMS Hospitals) was subscribed 0.34 times by 12.10 pm on the second day of subscription. KIMS seeks to raise up to Rs 2,143 crore through the public offer. The price band for the offer has been fixed at Rs 815-825 per equity share. The public issue will open for subscription on Wednesday till June 18, 2021.

Earnings Impact

CESC: Buzzing and trading with a gain of 3.34%. The power utility company has reported a 13.5% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 429 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 378 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Olectra GreenTech: Up 0.84%. The manufacturer of electric buses has reported a 44.3% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 9.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 17.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Welspun Enterprises: Down 3.18%. The construction engineering company has reported a 54% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 40.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 89.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Nureca: Down 3.64%. The company has reported a 62.5% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 3.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 2.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share.
Somany Ceramics: Hits 10% upper circuit and trading with 11.74% gain. Ceramic wall and floor tile manufacturing company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 35.3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a loss of Rs 9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Federal Bank: Up 1.41%. The board of the commercial banking company has approved the issuance of up to 10.48 crore equity shares to International Finance Corporation, IFC Financial Institutions Growth Fund and IFC Emerging Asia Fund at Rs 87.39 per share (CMP – 84.95) aggregating to Rs 916 crore. Further, the bank will raise up to Rs 4,000 crore via Rights Issue, QIP, FPO, FCCB, ADR, Global Depository Receipts etc. The bank will also raise up to Rs 8000 crore via the issue of debt instruments in the domestic and/or overseas market.
IDFC First Bank: Up 1.11%. The board has approved the re-appointment of V Vaidyanathan as the MD & CEO for a further period of three years, with effect from December 19, 2021, up to December 18, 2024. Approval from RBI and shareholders is pending.

ABB India: Up 1.41%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 1,776.70 in the intraday trade today.
Asian Paints: Up 0.93%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 3,057.90 in the intraday trade today.
Pidilite: Up 1.11%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 2,160.00 in the intraday trade today.
Polycab: Up 0.38%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 1,944.00 in the intraday trade today.
Tata Consumers: Up 0.02%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 739.90 in the intraday trade today.
Infosys: Up 0.36%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 1,488.60 in the intraday trade today.
SKF India: Up 4.03%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 2,697.00 in the intraday trade today.
Coromandel International: Up 1.69%. Earlier, it hit the life high of 887.00 in the intraday trade today.

Textile Stocks: Moving up. Trident – up 3.93%, Raymond –up 5.60%, Bombay Dyeing – up 5.23%, Vardhman Textiles – up 2.76% and Arvind – up 2.25% among others were trading higher.

Liquor Stocks: Buzzing. Stocks like Globus Spirit – up 14.98%, Radico Khaitan – up 1.85%, GM Breweries – up 2.81%, United Spirits – up 2.57% and UBL – up 2.15% among others were trading higher.

ITDC: Hits 10% upper circuit and trading with a gain of 15.22%.

Ge T&D: Up 4.62%. The stock was suggested in my view section of Traders Diary show of Zee Business.

Cyient: Up 2.49%. The stock was suggested in cash pick and best pick sections of the Traders Dairy show on Zee Business today.

Adani Group Stocks: Again under pressure. Stocks like Adani Enterprises – down 2.34%, Adani Port – down 3.90%, Adani Power-down 4.99%, Adani Total Gas – down 5%, Adani Green Energy – down 4.46% were trading lower.

BF Utilities: Hits 10% upper circuit and trading 13.05% up.

Himadri Speciality: Trading near 10% upper circuit with a gain of 9.41%.

ITI: Up 3.35%.

Gujarat Gas: Up 4.83%.

Union Bank of India: Up 3.60%.

KPR Mills: Up 4.21%.

Greaves Cotton: Up 6.18%.

TBZ: Up 4.71%.

SW Solar: Up 4.34%.

BLS International: Up 4.69%.

BEML: Up 5.82%.

JK Lakshmi Cement: Up 5.24%
