After taking the medical entrance exam, I was selected in 1996 with a respectable rank in AFMC, CBSE PMT & MPPMT, and Gandhi medical college, Bhopal, was the one I chose for my MBBS Study. After completing my MBBS in 2001, I started teaching students on weekends for medical entrance exams and earned a decent wage. Later in 2002, I used to teach 700 students in a class and around 2100 students in a day. Soon after, Biomentors classes was started in 2008 as an offline institute in Bhopal. After completing my Post graduation from CMC Vellore in Family Medicine, I also did PG in Diabetes from John Hopkins Medical University in the USA.

I also served as a regional bank medical officer in NABARD Madhya Pradesh and shifted to Mumbai in 2015 with my family. After establishing my medical practice as a Diabetologist, I opened BKC Clinic there and began recording lectures for YouTube during my free time. Within a few months, many students subscribed to Biomentors online channel 2017. In 2018, Biomentors online mobile app was launched. Today the turnover of biomentors classes online is in crores, it’s a team of 143 members. Invested in scholarships, infrastructure & employment generation was made. Today Biomentors online is a trusted name in online Education in India in NEET domain.

Question 2. What is your plan to bring something different to the table in this era of cut-throat competition?

Biomentors never treat our students as customers. Our ways are transparent, and we refrain from marketing tricks. The platform is focused on word-of-mouth marketing, hard work, and success rate. To date, more than 14000 students have gotten selected from Biomentors.

Question 3. Mention some roadblocks in your journey and what lessons you have learned from them.

Initial expansion was not easy because earnings were low. Expenses increased as we developed. After selling one of my properties to support this venture, we worked continuously, and finally, the venture became self-sustainable & profitable. The organization is still thriving and bootstrapped with a promising growth rate.

Question 4. What has been your success mantra?

I believe in the Laws of thermodynamics – that energy can never be wasted. It only transforms into another form. To succeed, one must put in energy consistently until the goal is achieved.

Question 5. Since you are scouting the field of Education, are there any specific prerequisites a person needs to hold before entering the domain?

There are no entry barriers in the edtech field, but the competition is fierce in this field. “Struggle for existence” and “survival of the fittest” are key formulas for success here. There are no shortcuts to success.
