Fargo Air Museum provides Aviation Career Expo for high schoolers

FARGO — The Fargo Air Museum played host to the first annual North Dakota Aviation Association’s Fly-ND Aviation Career Expo on Friday, May 14.

The event brought out about 100 students grades nine through 12 from as far west as Bismarck. There were 25 exhibitors from places like the University of North Dakota’s Aviation Department, the North Dakota Air National Guard and more.

In addition to the industry leaders, the expo awarded about $12,000 in scholarships to aviation students. There were also guest speakers and 18 aircraft for the high schoolers to go inside and learn about.

The Association’s next career expo for high schoolers is scheduled for this fall in Minor, N.D.
