Hyderabad: Five persons were injured in a road mishap after a speeding car hit them on Saturday.
Police said that the victims, who are migrant workers, were walking on the road near Fathenagar when the car, which was coming at speed, hit them.
The victims had sustained fractures. The injured were rushed to state-run Gandhi Hospital.
Meanwhile, the car driver was nabbed by locals there and handed over to the police.
A large number of locals gathered at the spot following the accident.
After police reached the spot, they seized the vehicle and registered a case against the driver. Police are examining the CCTV footage.
