Gangavaram Port Celebrated Engineer’s Day

Gangavaram Port, the deepest and the most modern port in the country celebrated ‘Engineer’s Day’ at the port premises where they felicitated Engineers of the company who have made significant contributions towards Safety, Productivity & Utilization by their Engineering Process & by addressing design and operational philosophies.

The ceremony began with a dedication to Shri Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya followed by a lighting ceremony by. Shri BG. Gandhi in the presence of Shri N Sambasiva Rao. The program was attended by the engineers from various departments of the Port. The team also made a presentation & video marking the Engineers day.

Engineers Day is celebrated in India commemorating the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, one of the best engineers of the nation. This day is celebrated to highlight the hard work of the engineers who have made significant contributions toward the growth and development of the nation.

Gangavaram Port Management said, “Every day is a challenging day for all of us. We always come out of our comfort zones and strive for our best. The engineering fraternity plays a critical role in ensuring smooth functioning at the port. The engineers should take inspiration from Visvesvaraya Sir and keep themselves update on world class techniques.
