GLOBALink | Suifenhe Railway Port sees increasing number of China-Europe freight trains amid pandemic – Xinhua

China’s land ports of Manzhouli and Suifenhe on the China-Russia border have seen over 10,000 China-Europe freight trains since the operation started in 2013, according to the China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd.

The China-Europe freight train service, seen as the “Belt and Road on rail,” helps boost connectivity between China and the rest of Eurasia as it’s cheaper than air freight and faster than traveling by sea.

As the largest land port in Heilongjiang, Suifenhe Railway Port has taken its geographical advantages to develop cross-border e-commerce business. Follow our correspondent to have a look at Suifenhe Railway Port in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province.
