Harsh Vardhan Kapoor Calls Out Media Over ‘Outdated’ Coverage

[ad_1]

New Delhi: On his birthday, Harsh Vardhan Kapoor addressed the issue of Bollywood actors’ commercial success being highlighted in articles rather than their artistic development. The actor, who turned 32 yesterday, used Twitter to voice his displeasure with the coverage of the “Hindi press” that focused on his box office failures.

Kapoor, who gave notable performances in ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ and ‘Thar’, felt that the publications failed to mention the actor’s “uniqueness of journey”.

Harsh Vardhan Kapoor claimed that his films’ merits weren’t given the recognition they deserved in his first tweet.

Following that, Kapoor tweeted that the media was partaking in “outdated/regressive reporting” by overlooking any sign of “creativity courage”. “Its almost like they’re completely blind to any sort of creativity courage or quality and only judge an artist by money made. This sets the precedent for future generations. Don’t expect other people to take risks with their choices if this outdated/regressive reporting continues,” his subsequent tweet read.

The responses from other users show that they generally share the actor’s viewpoint. In fact, they told Kapoor that people have been raving about his performances so far.
