JEE Mains 2024: JEE Mains 2024 Paper 2: Results expected soon; Here’s how to check results, and other details


The JEE Mains 2024 Paper 2 Result will soon be available on the official website A total of 74,002 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 55,493 appeared. The result date for Paper 2 is yet to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To check the result, candidates need to log in using their application number and date of birth. Once the result is released, it can be downloaded and printed for future reference. For more details, visit the official website of NTA JEE.

NTA has not confirmed the date for the announcement of JEE Main 2024 session 1, paper 2 results. While announcing the results of paper 1, it said that the results of paper 2 “will be issued in the next few days.”

The Architecture and Planning examination was conducted on February 24, in a single shift, from 3 pm to 6 pm. A total of 74,002 candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 examinations for session 1, out of which 55,493 or 75 per cent of candidates appeared for the exam.

The Examination was also conducted in 21 cities outside India Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos/Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Moscow, Ottawa, Port Louis, Bangkok, and Washington D.C. The examination was also conducted in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and Oslo cities for the first time.

The “Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score” was used to ensure that candidates were neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination.

NTA conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024) in about 544 Centres in 291 Cities (including 21 cities outside India.There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.Marking Scheme

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
  • Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  • Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

  • Click on the link to download JEE (Main) Session 1 Scorecard
  • Key in your credentials and login
  • The scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the scorecard
  • Take a printout for future reference

In the information bulletin of JEE Main 2024, NTA said that “a copy of the Final Scorecard of JEE (Main) 2024 will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidates.”
