Legendary Texas high school football player killed in automobile accident

Clayton Weishuhn was a legend in Texas High School football and he would end dominating at Angelo State to eventually play in the NFL. We are learning Weishuhn was killed in an automobile accident in Texas.

Clayton Weishuhn played in the NFL with the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers.

He helped Angelo State Rams team win the 1978 NAIA championship and that still stands as the only national championship that ASU has won in football.

He was a star linebacker in college. Weishuhn would end up being drafted in Third round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Patriots.
