Jammu: Managing Director, Jammu, Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Jammu, Er Gurmeet Singh, convened a meeting today, in his office at Panama Chowk, Jammu with all the concerned Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers of JPDCL to assess the latest ‘Power Scenario’, particularly in ahead of Navratri Festival and the Holy Month of Ramadhan.
All the officers at the meeting were given instructions to ensure un-interrupted power supply to the public of Jammu province during such period, in general and the concerned staff was also directed to ensure smooth supply of power to all the major religious places in Jammu Province and to ‘Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine’, during the forthcoming Navratri Festival. Further MD, JPDCL instructed them to maintain un-hindered power supply to the people of Jammu Province during the Holy Month of Ramadhan, especially at ‘Sehri’ and ‘Iftar’ timings. In case of any unprecedented power breakdowns, the officers were instructed to restore power supply within the shortest time possible.
The meeting ended with reassurance by all the concerned staff to work for the welfare of public of Jammu Province, in general.
