Pune, 19th November 2022: A 27-hour block was taken for bridge work in the Mumbai division. Therefore, trains coming to Mumbai today (November 19) and tomorrow (November 20) have been canceled. It also includes trains departing from Pune station. Some trains will run to Pune instead of Mumbai.

Considering the inconvenience to the passengers, the railway administration has appointed additional staff at the Pune station. Moreover, a 24-hour helpdesk has also been started to guide the passengers. It is also planned to arrange ST buses from Pune station if the passengers feel the need.

Railway traffic going to Mumbai is completely disrupted for two days. Many travelers have changed their travel plans. The Gadag-Mumbai train will run to Pune instead of Mumbai due to the short-term railway. The Pune Railway Administration has appointed additional ticket inspectors, and commercial inspectors at the station so that such passengers are not inconvenienced.

Dr Milind Hirve, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Railway Department, Pune informed that “An additional ticket window will be opened at the reservation center along with the existing ticket window. If the passengers want to go to Dadar, Kalyan by other trains, then they are allowed to travel by other trains. Suitable arrangements have been made at Pune stations to avoid inconvenience to the passengers. Railways have also planned to send them to Mumbai by ST if the passengers demand.”
