By India Today Tech: After a gap of little over three years, OnePlus is all set to make its return to on-ground events in India with the OnePlus 11 launch. That is right. The new OnePlus flagship is coming soon and with it the company seems to be bringing back the same old buzz that its fans enjoyed in years now gone by. This means not only the Cloud 11, the kind of gala launch events that OnePlus used to host, on February 7 but also return to some crowd-favourite features like alert slider.

In a note shared with media and fans, OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will bring back the alert slider. The phone will also use a camera powered by and fine-tuned using Hasselblad technologies, something that in the Series 10 was reserved for the Pro variant.

Interestingly OnePlus is hosting Cloud 11 in Delhi despite it being a global event, once again highlighting that for the company India is arguably its most important market.

To signify that after a hiatus it is back to business in the true OnePlus way, and the company’s fans are surely familiar with this way in India, the company has launched a campaign — OnePlus Is Back. The idea, it seems, is to tell the OnePlus fans and consumers in India that it is bringing back to its new products the same mojo, features and value that made its previous products favourite among consumers.

Apart from the OnePlus 11, the company is also going to launch OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and a couple of other products at Cloud 11. The tagline of the event is “Witness the Shape of Power”.

What we know about the OnePlus 11

Of course, all the key details, including the OnePlus 11 price in India, will be known after its formal launch on February 11. But there are already a number of details about the phone that have been confirmed by OnePlus.

For example, OnePlus confirmed this last month that the upcoming flagship smartphone has been under development, and will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Then there is the community feedback — and OnePlus has a vibrant community of its fans and users — that the company is responding to by bringing back two key features in its next phone. We are glad to confirm that two of the fan-favourite OnePlus features — Hasselblad-tuned camera system and the beloved alert slider — are going to be back in the OnePlus 11.

Going by the recent teaser from the 9th Anniversary celebration of the brand, eagle-eyed fans spotted the presence of the alert slider on the OnePlus 11. At the same time, the company is also bringing back the cameras tuned with help from Hasselblad, the iconic camera company. Unlike previously when the Hasselbald was reserved for the Pro variant, this the OnePlus 11 version will also have it. Or so say the grapevine.

As noted earlier, at the Cloud 11 OnePlus is also going to launch its latest high-end TWS offering — the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro at its February 7 event. Apart from the phone and the new Buds, the event is also expected to see launch of new mechanical keyboard from OnePlus.
