SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — All lanes are back open on northbound Interstate 5 just south of Tamarack Avenue in Carlsbad following a crash that left a cement truck overturned on the roadway, according to police.
The northbound Tamarack Avenue offramp and northbound Cannon Road onramp were closed due to the wreck, Caltrans advises.
According to Caltrans, the truck overturned and spilled concrete and other fluid onto I-5. A crane lifted the truck back upright and Caltrans had cleanup crews the site.
The driver’s condition is unknown at this time.
