Emergency services have been stood down following a suspected leak at a North East port.
PD Ports, in Teesside, closed this evening to investigate a suspected leak.
However, it has now concluded there was no leak, no chemicals were released and emergency services have been stood down.
The port is now open to inbound and outbound traffic.

A PD Ports spokesperson said: “PD Ports can now confirm that the investigation into the suspected leak has now concluded and the emergency services have been stood down.
“The port is now open for all inbound and outbound traffic.
“Health and safety remains our top priority and we thank you for your patience whilst we worked alongside the emergency services to conduct the investigation.”
The port, which is the owner and operator of Teesport, raised the alarm at 5.28pm, when a suspected leak was found at a liquid bulk tank at a Teesdock container terminal.
Three fire crews from Cleveland Fire Brigade, an ambulance and police officers were dispatched to the scene.
However emergency services were stood down at about 8.30pm.

A spokesperson from Cleveland Police said: “It has been confirmed that there was no leak and therefore no release of any chemical – and that the initial report was made in good faith.
“The roads around the port are now re-opening and we would like to thank anyone affected for their patience and co-operation this evening.”
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 18:13 this evening to an incident in Tees Dock Road. We dispatched one ambulance crew, a clinical team leader and an offer, but were later stood down on scene.”
