PMC announces competition to improve roads for safe commute to school | National News

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has planned to implement innovative methods to enable students to commute independently to and from school by making roads safer for them to walk and cycle on, as well as reducing traffic congestion. PMC has announced a competition for urban designers to find ‘implementable ideas’. The civic body has reportedly allotted ₹1 crore for the initiative.
