UPDATE: As of 11:45 a.m., MidAmerican Energy reported only 14 households without power in Waterloo.
WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) — According to MidAmerican Energy, 1,197 Waterloo residents are without power as of 11 a.m. Saturday.
An outage map from MidAmerican shows outages to the southeast of Crossroads Mall and near the intersection of San Marnan Drive and Kimball Avenue.
Our KWWL crew witnessed several stoplights out in the area of Kimball Avenue where Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to a nearby call at Waterfalls Car Wash. A utility pole appeared to be damaged in that area.
