Prices of Industrial Products in the Federation of BiH recorded Increase

The prices of producers of industrial products in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 0.1 percent in December 2022 compared to the previous month.

Prices rose in the Energy groups by 1.1 percent and Non-durable consumer goods by 0.7 percent, while prices fell in the Intermediate products except energy groups by 0.7 percent and Capital products by 0.3 percent. Prices did not change on average in the group of consumer durables.

According to the areas of the Classification of Activities of BiH 2010, prices increased in the areas of Extraction of ores and stone by 1.6 percent and Production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 0.2 percent. Prices fell in the area of Manufacturing industry by 0.1 percent.

On an annual basis, producer prices of industrial products in December 2022 increased by 18.5 percent compared to the same month in 2021.

Producer prices of industrial products on the domestic market in December 2022 increased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, and compared to the same month in 2021, they increased by 17.4 percent.

On the foreign market, prices in December 2022 fell by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, and compared to the same month in 2021, they increased by 19.7 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics
