Real estate rundown week ending July 1, 2022

The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors announced a 1.8% decrease in active residential listings — from 2,925 in the multiple listing service on June 10, 2021, to 2,873 on June 10, 2022.

While the number of listings are down, the average residential sales price has increased 11.5% from $411,403 in 2021 to $458,686 in 2022, and median residential sales prices have risen 20%, from $290,715 to $348,890.

Average number of days on market has dropped by 15.6% from 64 to 54.

GGAR also reported 1,535 homes were pending sale and 1,230 units were under contingency contract as of June 10.
