[ad_1]

State Member for Lismore, Janelle Saffin, hosted a roundtable meeting with members of transport operators and local police today, discussing the state of Northern Rivers roads and transport after the floods.

Shadow Minister for regional transport and roads Jenny Aitchison visited the region and says more needs to be done to reclassify roads, and take the burden off councils, and bring them back into the hands of the state.

The Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, Sam Farraway says he’s implemented 15 of 37 recommendations from the Regional Road Transfer and Road Classification Review.
