Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 15!

Shares of Vesuvius India, the top BSE Smallcap gainer, climbed over 11 per cent and hit a new 52-week high in an otherwise dismal market.





Wall Street indices ended a two-day rally fueled by better-than-expected inflation data, raising hopes that the Federal Reserve will slow down its interest rate hikes. The majority of Asian markets were trading higher, defying the Wall Street downturn, while Indian headline indices opened flat.  


At 11:45 am, the BSE Sensex lost 0.15 per cent, reaching a level of 61,530. The Nifty 50 index declined 0.12 per cent to the 18,306 level. On the Sensex, UltraTech Cement Company, ICICI Bank and Titan were the Top Gainers, whereas ITC Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the Top Losers.   


The session’s worst-performing sector, BSE Metals, fell after rising more than 10 per cent in the last month. Small gains were witnessed in BSE Auto and BSE Consumer Durables stocks.  


Shares of Vesuvius India, the top BSE Smallcap gainer, climbed over 11 per cent and hit a new 52-week high in an otherwise dismal market. Significant buying was also observed in the shares of Gabriel India and FCS Software Solutions.  


After reaching a five-month high of 7.41 per cent in September, retail inflation declined to 6.77 per cent in October, primarily as a result of falling food basket prices. Due to stronger inflation data and falling crude oil prices, the rupee strengthened against the US dollar.
