Square textiles of Bangladesh declares 35% cash dividend for its shareholders: Reports

Square Textiles Limited of Bangladesh, which together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and markets cotton/yarn for individual and industrial use has declared 35% cash dividend for its shareholders.

Media reports claimed this while adding the company has declared this for its shareholders for the year ended June 30 at its 27th annual general meeting (AGM) held under the virtual platform on 24 December even as the reports went on to underline the company’s consolidated turnover, gross profit and net profit (after tax) for the year ended 30 June were Taka 1,743.22 crore, Tk291.61 crore and Taka195.86 crore respectively.

Reports further added at the end of the AGM on 24 December, the company’s Chairman Tapan Chowdhury expressed their deep appreciation to shareholders for their trust and support of the company’s performance.
