Homegrown broadcast network SUKE TV has appointed Be Strategic as its marketing communications agency. The agency is tasked with developing branding, digital and social initiatives, and managing SUKE TV’s public relations by creating and enhancing the network’s brand image in the media and entertainment industry.

According to founder and chairman of SUKE TV, AC Mizal (pictured centre), Be Strategic understood and captured the essence of SUKE TV, including the story behind the network. In fact, it was necessary for the broadcast network to appoint an agency that could direct its efforts to fortify the broadcast network’s place in the media and entertainment industry.

“Our decision in engaging them was a strategic and an intrinsic reflection of our mission to support local and homegrown businesses,” said AC. Offering a new and contemporary shoppertainment experience, the broadcast network aims to contribute back to its local celebrities, performers, SMEs, and viewers. Through its dual option and platform strategy, AC added its mission is to put a smile and bring happiness back for everyone, building a healthy and emotional relationship with its consumers.

Meanwhile, Ashvin Anamalai (pictured right), chief strategist of Be Strategic, said the agency has been entrusted with great responsibility and sincerely hopes to deliver the SUKE TV mission to be the go-to Malaysian broadcast network to all Malaysians everywhere. “Similar to how SUKE TV is both innovative and unique to the country’s media and entertainment landscape, we look forward to developing an integrated media strategy together to support our very exciting vision for the future of SUKE TV,” added Anamalai. Be Strategic has worked with clients such as Lazada Malaysia, Quill Automobiles, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, UDA Property and Castrol Malaysia.

Recently, SUKE TV has also unveiled its line-up of personalities that will be joining the broadcast network on its 24/7 free-to-air TV channel. These personalities include industry icons such as Wak Doyok, Tengku Azura, Maryam Ryzal, Ernie Zakri, Emelda Rosmila and Syamel. It also includes social media influencers such as Aireena Sofia, Mat Dan, Bibi Qairina and Rushdan Wafa. Not to mention, industry talents Reeve Damien, Allisya Tahir and Fauzi Zulkifli. A+M has reached out to SUKE TV for additional information regarding its future marketing plans.

Last year, celebrity video messaging and shoutout platform Sqwift appointed Be Strategic to lead its PR efforts in Southeast Asia, beginning with Malaysia. According to Sqwift, Be Strategic was the first agency to be granted this remit and will be responsible for all of its press-related materials, engagements and curated content.
