N.J man charged with sex assault, manufacturing child pornography

[ad_1]

A 26-year-old Cape May County man was arrested Wednesday on charges of sexual assault and manufacturing child pornography, authorities said.

Abdul Blackmon also faces counts of child endangerment and possessing child pornography, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Middle Township police Chief Christopher Leusner.

Few details were released about the allegations. In a statement, the prosecutor said the arrest stemmed from Blackmon allegedly “having a sexual relationship with a minor” following an investigation by county detectives and township police.

Sutherland said the investigation was continuing and asked anyone with information to call the prosecutor’s office special victims unit at 609-465-1135.
