Paris 2024 Olympics Tickets Now On Sale — How You Can Meet The Athletes, Take A Tour While Enjoying The Games

Summer athletes have their eyes on Paris, as the 2024 Summer Olympics commence in a little over a year. And so should you if you want to go; tickets for events are on sale now! Here’s how to get some.

Three Packages

There are three ways to experience the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris: individual event tickets, travel packages, and hospitality packages. They are only available on the official Paris 2024 website, as this is the only site authorized to sell tickets to the events. Each package comes with different perks and can vary vastly depending on your budget and what you want out of your Paris Olympic experience. Paris 2024 officials say the newly-released packages allow spectators with all budgets a chance to enjoy the games.

“Paris 2024 will be a spectacular celebration of sport in one of the world’s most beautiful cities,” said Tony Estanguet, President of the 2024 Paris Olympics. “A celebration that will open up the games to more people than ever before with sports being played in the heart of the city, next to exceptional landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Palais, as well as the highly anticipated opening ceremony along the Seine River.”

Ticket Draw

If you only want individual tickets to various sporting events and are not looking for any extras, then you will want to sign up for the ticket draw. And you better hurry! The deadline to enter the draw is January 31, 2023. I recently entered the draw and it was fairly easy and took less than 5 minutes. Once you enter your email and create a password, you will be asked if you are interested in single tickets or packs. I clicked both because I just want to see any sport! The packs allow you to buy up to 30 tickets across three sports. For instance, you could buy four tickets each to swimming, volleyball, and gymnastics. Once you submit your preferences, you are done!

The drawing for tickets will begin on February 13 and last for a month until March 15. During that time, keep a close eye on your email. If you are selected to purchase tickets, you will receive an email with an allotted time slot to buy your tickets. That’s when you are able to go online and select tickets from available sessions. This email can come at any time during the drawing month, so be sure to check often!

Travel Packages

Travel packages allow you to skip the ticket draw and secure your tickets, along with accommodations during your stay. On the travel package homepage, there are some pre-arranged travel options. I saw one for two nights that included tickets to boxing and golf. That package started at nearly $1,500 euros per person (about $1,624). Or you can filter your results based on which sport you’d like to see and what level of accommodation you’d like to stay at. Prices start at the lower end for three-star hotels and go up from there if you pick a four- or five-star hotel, or if you add additional nights.

Hospitality Packages

For premium access to the Olympic Games, take a look at the hospitality packages. These packages come with guaranteed tickets at premium seats with good views, hospitality lounges, plus exclusive access to Clubhouse 24, an immersive experience featuring French culture and cuisine. The venue is being created specifically for the games inside the renowned Palais de Tokyo. It has live music, sports demonstrations, and interactive areas.

To book a hospitality package, you first select which sport you’d like to see, and then the day and time. Then, you have a choice of what level of service you’d like. The highest package includes an in-venue hospitality area with food, beverages, and dedicated staff, plus a special souvenir, live music, and other perks. The in-house hospitality comes in four levels: gold, silver, bronze, and private boxes.

If you want to save a bit of money, you can forgo that and still secure your sporting tickets and various perks off-site (like Clubhouse 24).

Beyond Paris’s 2024 Olympic Games, we recommend visiting this museum for its celebration of Picasso or trying to find one of these hidden locations to see some beautiful artwork. Then, when you’re hungry, check out our guide to must-visit historic brasseries in the city.
